Outstanding New Fundraising Professional
AFP Calgary & Area Chapter

AFP Calgary and Area Chapter is pleased to announce our newest award “Outstanding New Fundraising Professional”, intended to further showcase and celebrate our local talent during National Philanthropy Week.   This award will be bestowed annually upon a development professional with five years or less experience who has made a significant contribution to the promotion, growth and development of fundraising.

The award recipient must demonstrate career achievements, long and short term career goals, involvement with the chapter, volunteer service outside of his/her own organization and a commitment to the profession.

Please consider nominating a new fundraiser who has shown aptitude, ability and success in their short time in the sector.  Managers are encouraged to nominate their employees.  Self-nominations are also welcome, as long as three letters of endorsement are provided.

This outstanding individual will be honoured at the awards reception and National Philanthropy Day luncheon alongside the recipients of the Outstanding Fundraising Professional and Hazel Gillespie Community Investment Leadership Award.

Please click on the below link for both the nomination form and criteria.

Nominations are closed.  Award receipients will be announced during National Philanthropy Awareness Week.
