Welcome to the Calgary & Area Chapter

AFP Calgary & Area Chapter was founded in 1996 and has now nearly 400 active AFP members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executive and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy.

AFP Calgary & Area has regular scheduled lunch meeting featuring local speakers and topic relevant to your every day work.  The chapter also offers education and networking opportunities such as Banff Compass, National Philanthropy Day luncheon, audio conferences and CFRE study groups to help meet the needs of fundraisers at all levels.

Location: Calgary (home-based) SUMMARY Transparency International Canada (TI Canada) is seeking a highly qualified individual to help us develop a robust fundraising plan for Western Canada, which would serve as a pilot for fundraising initiatives in other parts of Canada. Hospitals of Regina Foundation (HRF) is dedicated to improving patients’ lives by raising funds for the advancement of health care in our community. Over 29 years, the Foundation has raised $150 million and supported a full range of enhanced health care services, education and patient-centered research for Regina’s three hospitals – Regina General Hospital, Pasqua Hospital and Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. The Development Officer will be responsible for providing support in the planning, coordination and implementation of The Foundation’s philanthropic objectives for the annual giving program.
