Welcome to the Calgary & Area Chapter

AFP Calgary & Area Chapter was founded in 1996 and has now nearly 400 active AFP members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executive and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy.

AFP Calgary & Area has regular scheduled lunch meeting featuring local speakers and topic relevant to your every day work.  The chapter also offers education and networking opportunities such as Banff Compass, National Philanthropy Day luncheon, audio conferences and CFRE study groups to help meet the needs of fundraisers at all levels.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Manager, Major Gifts is primarily responsible for CHF’s major giving program, including managing a portfolio of major gift donors/prospects, and attracting major gifts, which support CHF’s philanthropic and fund development strategies.
